When I create a project, and then go into its properties, seemingly no matter what resolution combination I choose, neither 16:9 nor 4:3 is available to me as an option. They display, but are "greyed out." Checks to see if I'm using DaVinci Resolve. If so continue.. I recorded in 6k BRAW 12:1 compression. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. With your still in the Timeline hover the mouse curser over the front or the end and the trim tool will appear. click and drag to either extend or shorten the stills running time.

To see if this is the case, park on a clip that has the issue, and on the Edit page, right click the clip on the edit timeline, and see if the "Decompose in place" menu is available. If so, select it. Then the controls should be available. Be aware that only the studio version of Resolve includes access to all OFX plugins. If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin. However you can use the built in sharpen/ blur options. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.The still thumbnails are stored with the project, in the project database.
